THE AUTHOR

Barbara Sitsch is an emotional alchemist, soul-led storyteller, and a board-certified Nurse Practitioner, whose work bridges science, spiritual insight, and poetic truth. With over 40 years in healthcare—and two decades specializing in neurodiversity—Barbara has supported thousands through the edges of identity, grief, and becoming, and is a rare guide who transforms complexity into clarity and pain into power.
Her work emerges from personal experience as much as professional expertise. After a traumatic loss, Barbara found herself asking not only why, but what their souls came to complete. That question became a path. That path became a story. That story became a transmission.
Her debut novella, The Promise Between Lives, and its companion journal, invite readers into the emotional and spiritual complexity of loving someone who couldn’t stay—and the sacred liberation that unfolds when we finally stop waiting for closure.
Barbara writes not to explain—but to transmute. She guides others into remembrance: of their intuition, their emotional sovereignty, and their right to evolve without apology.
She lives with depth, humor, and a quiet fire in Washington, where she continues to support high-performing individuals through her private practice—and midwives collective healing through story, ritual, and soul truth.
